JUDGING INFORMATION
Northern Counties Shih Tzu Club maintains its own Kennel Club Judging List which is not available for download due to UK Data Protection Laws.
General Canine Societies can request a printed copy of the Clubs’ Judging List to assist them in choosing judges by contacting the Club Secretary.

Club Judging Lists are complied in accordance with K.C. Approved Criteria for THE COMPILATION OF JUDGING LISTS.
Judging List applicants may wish to download a copy of our Judges Criteria to assist them on the relevant information they should include when submitting their C.V.s. All applications should include general canine experience, Shih Tzu breed experience, judging history, Stud Book entries, breed seminars and K.C. accredited seminars completed.
Copies of all certificates of attendance and exams passed plus relevant stewarding experience must be included.
PLEASE NOTE: Northern Counties Shih Tzu Club retains the right to decide which judging list; if any, an applicant qualifies for.
IN THE U.K. SHIH TZU ARE CURRENTLY SCHEDULED IN THE KENNEL CLUB BAND ‘D’.
This means judges can only undertake appointments where up to 3 classes are scheduled without being on a Breed Club Judging List.
They are required under Kennel Club Rules and Regulations to be on a Breed Club B List to judge more than 3 classes.
